Retirement Downsizing to a Modular Home Was Perfect Choice for Patty and Al

For years, Patti and Al enjoyed their time in a spacious 3,000+ square foot home nestled in the mountains of Murphy, NC. A home consultant guided them through various floor plans available on the lot, as well as others that could be ordered from local building facilities. Like so many others, Patti and Al were pleasantly surprised by the extensive customization options and modern amenities that were available (not to mention the price savings.) After selecting their perfect floor plan, they smoothly financed through one of Regional's lending partners.

Patti and Al ultimately chose the "Archdale" modular home (by Champion Homes) as their floor plan, adapting it to suit their property layout. They personalized their choice of flooring, cabinet colors, and countertops, and even added a fireplace in the living room. The Archdale stood out to them due to its semi-open floor plan, spacious primary ensuite bathroom, generous closet, and real quartz countertops – all under 1,900 square feet.

Our team managed the entire delivery and setup process, which included grading, foundation work, well installation, and septic setup. Following construction, Patti and Al added a garage and back porch. Now, they are happily settled into their new home and have begun a new life chapter.

This new space is not just ideal for Al and Patti; their two dogs, Mia and Misty, have also made themselves comfortable in their lovely surroundings.
